Equine Communities was established as an affordable venue to sell horse related real estate in 2003 by John Peroyea.

In early 2010,  Equine Communities was acquired by Rebecca Stewart.  Rebecca’s vision for Equine Communities is for it to be the top location on the web to easily find high quality equine properties/ horse related real estate and boarding stables. Equine Communities combines two of Rebecca’s passions: horses and the internet. Trying to find “horse friendly” property over numerous moves over the past few years was always a hurdle for Rebecca and her husband.  They always wished there was one place to go to find horse property.  Equine Communities is the answer!

About the Owner:  Rebecca Stewart

Rebecca Stewart is an entrepreneur at heart which is evidenced with her diverse background.  From flying airplanes, to running web businesses, to being a full time mom of two,  Rebecca enjoys helping others, starting businesses, enjoying family and riding her horses.  Rebecca is excited about the acquisition of  EquineCommunities.com  and has big plans for the website.   Rebecca and her husband Scott developed the Cheval Farms horse community located in Northwest Arkansas, where Rebecca also owned and managed a very successful horse boarding stable.  During the Summer of 2009, Rebecca and her family relocated to south Louisiana.  Rebecca is a Certified Equine Massage Therapist and started Revelation Equine Massage. From 1998 to 2005, Rebecca was president of FindAPilot.com, a very successful aviation job website.  Rebecca was a corporate pilot for over 8 years before “retiring” to be a stay a home mom.  Rebecca graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1994 with a degree in Professional Aviation and a minor in Aviation Management. She lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband Scott and their children, Olivia and Conner.
